Reading the habitat

Mikrohabitat & GeologieMicrohabitat & geology
Recorded only from Oribi Gorge in KwaZulu-Natal, where it grows in rock crevices and on steep south-facing cliffs in humus-rich pockets of soil.

Klima am dokumentierten FundortClimate at the documented locality
No sufficiently precise locality is documented for this accession. No accession-specific temperature or precipitation values are therefore given; the general climatic setting of the natural range remains the basis.
Cultivation inference
The habitat combines sharp drainage with humus-rich pockets and a relatively sheltered south-facing aspect. Bright semi-shade, a humus-rich mineral substrate and regular but cautious watering during growth are appropriate.
