02 / ERKENNUNGCHARACTERS
Merkmale für den VergleichCharacters for comparison
Extrem variable stammsukkulente Art. An extremely variable stem-succulent species. The conical to cylindrical stem bears conspicuous leaf, stipule and inflorescence scars; blade shape, margin and the number and length of receptacle rays vary greatly. Single characters in cultivated plants are therefore insufficient for separating supposed species.

- LebensraumHabitat
Plants exploit short rainy periods and may become partly or completely leafless during drought.
Grow warm, very bright to lightly shaded and airy. Water thoroughly during active growth, then allow the freely drained mix to dry appreciably. Reduce water after leaf fall and avoid prolonged cold wetness.
