Reading the habitat
- Mikrohabitat & Geologie Microhabitat & geology
Recorded only from the Port Shepstone area of KwaZulu-Natal, where it grows in wooded river valleys near the coast.
- Klima / Biom Climate / biome
- saisonal geprägter Standort seasonally structured habitat
- Klima am dokumentierten FundortClimate at the documented locality
No sufficiently precise locality is documented for this accession. No accession-specific temperature or precipitation values are therefore given; the general climatic setting of the natural range remains the basis.
- Cultivation inference
The habitat points to bright shade, a humus-rich airy substrate and regular moisture without waterlogging. Procumbent stems may root where conditions are suitable.
