Reading the habitat

Mikrohabitat & Geologie Microhabitat & geology
The species grows in forest, scrub forest, and shady places among rocks, chiefly at middle to lower elevations in coastal and eastern regions. It may vary greatly in stature and pubescence according to growing conditions.

Klima am dokumentierten FundortClimate at the documented locality
No sufficiently precise locality is documented for this accession. No accession-specific temperature or precipitation values are therefore given; the general climatic setting of the natural range remains the basis.
Cultivation inference
As a plant of forest and rocky shade, it is suited to bright shade or semi-shade, a humus-rich but well-drained substrate, and more even moisture during active growth.
