03 / LEBENSRAUM UND KULTURHABITAT AND CULTIVATION

Reading the habitat

Mikrohabitat & Geologie Microhabitat & geology
In south-eastern Africa the species is recorded from dry woodland, often with other succulents, as well as from rocky places and brackish flats.
Klima / Biom Climate / biome
saisonal geprägter Standort seasonally structured habitat
Klima am dokumentierten FundortClimate at the documented locality
No sufficiently precise locality is documented for this accession. No accession-specific temperature or precipitation values are therefore given; the general climatic setting of the natural range remains the basis.
Cultivation inference
Its association with other succulents and occurrence in rocky places point to warm, bright, sharply drained cultivation with seasonal drying intervals.
